    Hey all,

I have some .avi home movies that I'd like to put onto dvd that have a menu, chapters and letterboxing (the black bits at the top and bottom to maintain the movie's proper dimensions, regardless of the screen shape.)

I've already had a look around on the dvd authoring links & resources thread and haven't found anything that will do all of what I want in the same program.

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

    RogerOne.

Thanks, attar, this program works like a charm. The only qualm I have with it is that when you play the dvd it automatically begins playing the movie instead of going to the menu and waiting the viewer to select play. You have to access the menu by pressing the appropriate button on the remote control - and that's after the movie has begun playing.

It's in the 'Settings' for the 'Menu', I think you un-check 'Autostart'.
You might consider turning off the burn setting and test the output files with the media player before burning.
