I have been reading forums left and right and I can't seem to understand how to copy an AVI file to DVD. I transfered my video from my sony DV camera to my PC using Adobe Premier. Its an AVI file. Now im trying to copy that file to a DVD so that I can play it on my DVD player. I know that I have to some how convert that file to an MPEG2. I converted the file useing cucusoft program and tried to burn it using nero (video DVD) and nero didn't recognize the file. Do I have to convert the MPEG2 file to VOB files? Im lost. Any help would be appreciated.

the vob is only the container for dvd. so there is no encoding needed.
