    Hi,

I tried burning some avi files to vcd using NERO but somehow it doesn't work.

    1) Is this because my avi files are actually divx or something?
    2) How do i find out what format my files is?

    3) If that is the case, what should i do? If you could direct me to a thread or give me some advice that would be great.

    4) In addition, would it be better to burn on vcd or dvd? which is more tedious?

Thanks a lot.. i am really a newbie. just bought my dvd burner yesterday.

    best rgds

    my assumptions,
    your avi files is 640x480,
so if you make a vcd it will be in 352x240, for dvd you don't need o reduce the size, so dvd is better.
