I have a DivX .avi file that is about 700mb. How do I burn this to VCD?

I tried using a standard-generic avi-2-vcd program, but it wouldn't burn because the file ended up being like 1.2gb! I need this to fit on a CD-R! Help please?

600 or 650 MB is the maxinum size on a CD disc, so it may be hard to burn AVI on CD directly.

You can convert your AVI to a more compressed format, such as MP4 and then burn.

    My recommendation:

use Any Video Converter( a free program)to convert your file and then Movie DVD Maker to burn your videos.

I cannot remember whether Movie DVD Maker can convert the video before it burn the video. If it can do this, you may not need to convert video with Any Video Converter
