    Hi,

I am currently thinking of purchasing WD TV Live so i can play my AVI's on my TV. I have a question regarding the quality of the playback however before i buy it.

Almost all my dvds were converted to the space saving: 700-800MB 640x272 format. Most of the people i have talked to are streaming high quality HD on their tvs however.

Can someone please enlighten me on how good the quality of the format i have is on a TV?
will the video be automatically stretched making it unviewable?

    Thanks for the help

The quality I see when playing avi through the WD TV player is the same as when I play it from a standalone player.
If you use the HDMI connection you will get maximum available quality.
