i just noticed that a action replay on ds can be updated so it could be hacked, i was wondering has anyone created a mod to play back ups with it from a flash gba card?. i heard a name called Nitro Hax ? i cant seem to find out if thats a hack i can do to my action reply ds.?
I never knew the Action Replay DS could be hacked, got a link? There is no working rom dump of the Action Replay as it uses special hardware that flash carts don't have, there is however a couple of ways around this: 1: Most flash carts now have built in cheat support, most of the time this is just making use of Action Replay codes. Obviously this method will only work on ROMs 2: Nitro Hax, this basically adds Action Replay to any slot-1 DS cart, it works in the same way and uses Action Replay codes, this is for original games (load Nitro Hax, swap flash cart for original game...). Nitro Hax might work with Slot-2 carts but i've never tried. I've never really looked into cheats on slot-2 carts, but there is something called dipstar - I also remember it was a pain to setup, spent a while trying to help someone else use it on this forum.
