I have the game Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars, and I was wondering how I could back it up before it gets scratched. I have Nero version 7. Just wondering what type of cd/dvd I needed or what programs. Any input would be helpful.

    CloneCD from Slysoft
    www.slysoft.com
    or Alcohol120
    Both offer trial periods.

Does it mean its copy protected if it comes up and says "insert original disc, not a backup."?

Yes, some newer games require the priginal disk and will not work if they detect certain emulators, E.G. CloneCD or Nero or Alcohol, etc.
