Hey Botham, many people here getting rid of xcopy. There are 3 programs that I use:

    dvd shrink 3.2

    nero 6 - 6.6

    dvd decrypter

Between dvd shrink and nero, i get perfect backups. Dvd shrink can take a dvd-9 and put it on a dvd5 blank disc.Shrink has extra enhancements to make the longer movies higher quality after "shrinkage"

Dvd decrypter is for the problematic copyrights and scratched discs. It is a powerful ripper and also has a burn engine,if you don't have nero.

You can get a 30 day trial of nero for free.

Dvd shrink and dvd decrypter can also do dual layer discs.

    All 3 programs are free!

There are many guides here on the top tab, look for bbmayo and scubapete's guides, there might be some more in the guides forum.

    Happy Holidays
