backing up pc games

    iam having trouble trying to back up my doom three. second disk.with blindwrite5 trying to break in newpx712a can anybody help?

    What trouble is the second disc giving you? It's unprotected and shouldn't be a problem.

    hi nephilim it was the wrong media. i got that now but still getting insert disk one when its already there.burning blindwrite5 with a plex.712a at 4xs.using, memorex dvds.cant get it to happen can ya help me doom3 disk one is there settings i should change. thanks okie

    BlindWrite5 isn't the best choice for Doom3 and it's SafeDisc 3.20.022 protection. I had the best results using BlindWrite 4.57 with the following settings:

    Read settings:
    - Authorize the use of alternative method
    - Choose nibble and read at 8x

    Write settings:

    - No Enhance Weak Sectors
    - No autoplay enabled
    - Burn DAO Pw at 4x



    Second choice is Alcohol 120% using the SafeDisc 2/3 profile with the read/write speeds set to 4X.
