Backing up with dvd recorder

    Is ther anyway to back up movies you own with a dvd recorder? I ve tried and have had no sucess.Any help would be appreciated.

    If you have a DVD-rom drive and or a DVD-burner it would be less time consuming.

    Actually you can google this (Sima CT-2 GoDVD). All you need is this box to get you past the protection. I agree with arniebear I prefer the computer route that way everything you produce DVD's have no protection. Sounds like you allready have a settop recorder so all you need is this box.
