Hi, I've had trouble with Nero BackitUp since it was first installed (Nero 7.0.1.4b). I've upgraded once and re-loaded (using the clean tool) twice but the problem remains. Briefly it is this: The BackitUp screen loads (either through Nero Smart-start or by clicking BackitUp.exe) but as soon as I choose the 'File Backup' option, I get a Windows message box indicating that BackitUp encountered a problem and needs to close. When I click to get more information on the error, I'm told that the error signature includes AppName: backitup.exe and Modname: msvcr71.dll. I'm running Windows XP(SP1) and have unloaded all the drivers that I safely can but still the problem persists. Nero Support has thus far been no help. Does anyone have a similar problem or some suggestions that I can try? Thanks in advance.
