Hello everyone - I am new to the site, and am pleased to be here.

I know that I need to download a program (DVD shrink, DVD Decrypter, etc) to be able to back up my DVDs. But is thre a program that is more campatible with my DVD burning software (NTI DVD Maker GOLD) that I should use?

Thanks so much for your help!

Not quite sure what you mean. If you use DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter, then why woudl you even need NTI DVD Maker GOLD.

You can configure dvd shrink, to make an iso to burn with dvd decrypter automatically.
Do your normally editing, and when you click backup, on the window that pops up,in the select backup target, choose, iso image file and burn with dvd decrypter.

Meh. I would like to see a guide using DVD-RB and CCE, as that is what I use. Or even DVD-RB and HC.

I guess I just am picky about site layouts and stuff cause I made sites.

    Simple Example: http://cryptomx.sf.net

Hopefully I have this right - So DVD decrypter is used to get the DVD on my Hard Drive, and then to back it up, would I burn it with DVD Decrypter? or my DVD burning software (NTI DVD Maker Gold)?

    hi
Use dvd decrypter to rip it to your hdd. Then if its bigger that 4.36gb, then you need to open your files up in dvd shrink, to compress it enough to fit.In order for you to be able to burn with dvd decrtpter, it has to be an iso.
Im not familiar with NTI,I had a lesser version and it didnt burn dvd's.
