i used someone's tutorial on how to install a softmod using SID 4. i followed that exactly and when i selected "backup ms dash" it says

[bold]"Batch process failed. The last item was: FOUND MODDED FILES. Action: Rename"[/bold]

i deleted every single modded file, all the maps from halo 2, all the linux files from previous walkthroughs. EVERYTHING

about a year ago i tried softmoding then deleted all the stuff. and just yesterday i did it using SID 3. im wondering if one of my previous trys messed up my xbox or something

if anybody could help me i would greatly appreciate it! thanks in advance

    this is all it says:

[bold]"Batch process failed. The last item was: FOUND MODDED FILES. Action: Rename"[/bold]

but i just tried it on my friends xbox and it worked perfectly so im thinking i messed up somewhere or did not delete all traces of the halo 2 maps. i am wondering if i screwed it up or if it is fixable. and my friend never had moded maps on his xbox so maybe that is why.

"Batch process failed. The last item was: FOUND MODDED FILES. Action: Rename"

    any help appreciated thanks
