I am having same problem with Compass, 27 dresses was no problem. Fab is pumping out updates like crazy for it, but they are not working. Bad advertisement for them when they are trying to sell the New 5.0

Burned Compass yesterday using the latest CloneDVD and AnyDVD, no problem.

I used VobBlanker to rip 27 Dresses to my HDD and then used DVD Shrink 3.2. No problems what so ever. Sorry i forgot to mention that i used anydvd and dvdfab and neither one worked.

I tried Anydvd and clonedvd on 27 dresses and it didn't work. I tried DVDHDfab latest free version and that didn't work either. I ended up using Ripit4me, Anydvd, and Dvd-decrypter. In step 3 (I think), I skipped everything that was checked ( clear last title set, Tiny Cells, etc...) At the end, clean the VOBs. I then had to put the files in a Video_TS folder and used DVDxcopy platinum RF to burn to the disc.

Looks like there may be a number of bad discs being released now with these movies.

    ^Agree.

I had zero issues with both movies using DvdFab Platinum.

I'm on the west coast, and as of late, I have ran in few bad press issues, whereas the fine people on the east coast and midwest have had more than their fair share of bad presses. I just wonder if the studios farm out the disc production to different plants scattered around the country with different quality standards. Maybe us westerners just got lucky.

I had no trouble at all with the titles mentioned. Using CloneDVD 2.9.1.7 And AnyDVD 6.4.1.1 & 6.4.1.2 :p

I had problems with ripit4me, but I tried the latest DVDFab HD Decrypter and then DVDShrink, and there was no problem. The company that put out DVDDecrypter was bought out by Macrovision, so there will be no updates for DVDDecrypter. I think Ripit4me needs to change their program to allow you to pick your decrypter program, or incorporate a different decrypter.
