BAD Support for making a bootable DVD

Hello,

For the past several weeks I have been trying to make a bootable DVD with Nero Burning ROM. I have lost count on how many time I have tried. I followed the step by step instructions in the Burning ROM manual
and I took the default choices on everything each time. All I have ever been able to get is a DVD with nothing on it except "desktop.ini". Literally nothing else.

I brought this to the attention of Nero support. Did I get help from them? No! They keep telling me that they DON'T help people with this problem.

I have never had to deal with support as bad as this. I need help with this issue. If I can't get it from Nero support, where can I get it? What can I do?

Did you find anything in the Nero forums? You might want to check there.

 

What are you trying to boot; a custom Windows disk or what?

 

Start using re-writable dvd's till you get it working

 

I have the same question as Attar.. desktop.ini isn't the kind of file I would expect to find on a bootable dvd..
