I got one back in Feb..all was well, did the flash update in April and no problems for a couple of months.

Then I started getting picture break up on Cartoon Network, Nick Toons & Boomerang. Only these channels, all others fine. What is more puzzling is that it only happens during the programs. While the ads are running its fine, but as soon as a program is started, the picture breaks up every few seconds.

Eventually I got around to ruunning a completely new cable, new connectors, the works today from my cable in to the box. Still happens.

Why on these channels only? Anyone else seeing this? I'm baffled why this is happening to just these 3 channels and only during the program. If it was all the time on these channels I'd think maybe its the freq is off, but during the ads there is no problem.

Any ideas before I lose my marbles?????

You could just try a manual scan on those channels, and see if it helps, you probably know how to do this but to save time. Menu and across to Installation, choose User Installation and enter pin, scroll to the required frequency and press OK and a Tick will appear on the left hand side, press blue button Manual Scan - takes about 2 mins max. worth a try, before doing anything else.

I did an "Update Channels" but it made no difference....

is that any different to a manual scan?

Do as Malci suggested sometimes when the update channels doesn't work the manual scan can bring the channels in,

Next step I would suggest is a factory default then powerscan as illustrated Here

I had the exact same problem but with S*y Sp**ts and others, dont really watch the kids channels so not sure if it happened for them.

Tried everything, bought signl booster aswell, and just today it seems to have sorted itself out?

did the manual scan on the rogue frequencies with no joy and then did the full factory reset and power scan as suggested by HiTeck.

Still getting the picture flicker. Now that I'm flicking through the channels I've noticed 1 or 2 other channels doing it aswell.

What I did notice yesterday on Cartoon Network was during certain programs, no matter what time of day it would NOT flicker, but as soon as another program came on, it started again.

    Talk about being random...

    Any other suggestions?
