The Aurora pop-up still comes up? I've been using my computer all day and re-booted several times and no more pop-ups. I even ran MS Antispyware and it does not find the Aurora threat anymore. Try running a search in c:\windows for "nail.exe" and see if the file is anywhere else.

If you are using 2000 or xp, why not do a system restore to a good solid restore date. Once you know it is stable, no pop ups etc. Disable system restore by unticking the box and clicking apply then enabling it again.

Try starting your PC in safe mode and doing a virus scan.

System restore is one of the first things I tried. I think I finally solved it, I got Panda Titanium 2005 and that did it.

Ok, now that I've gotten rid of the spyware, I have a new problem, my PC is taking about 4X the amount of time it usually takes to start up, and after it does, I get an error, "can't find nail.exe" what do you do in a situation like that?

The spyware is whats causing it, now that its gone its still calling the exe, and thats whats taking it longer to boot
