What? You haven't been paid yet ddp? Hmm, your check is in the mail.

    1) Is it fricken easier to type "in teh drive" than in the drive?
Do these people speak leet because they cannot type? Or because
they can do nothing but mash the keyboard.

    2) If these people have such a problem with their computer etc. why
do they type so fricken fast? What else do they have to be doing.

    3) Is it illegal to give little sh**s like this (non respectful little...), purposley wrong info
that will do some damage to their pc. Like press:
    start>run>type CMD>type: del C:\windows

ireland i sent you a link to what i am talking about, also there a few others but i will not post the persons name in a open forum, theese people know who they are, sometimes it is just for a laugh but most of the times it is ment to be mean! most of the times i am here at least twice a day to see if i can help with information for people who are needing the help with things, and mostly everyone here is verry helpfull, and the people who do the bashing are mostly helpfull, but i guess it depends on what the question that is being asked depends on what starts the problem, thanks for all the input, this is still the best forum anywhere

Alright, I'll come out of lurking to post my two cents on this.
Bashing, whether someone "deserves" it or not is just plain stupid and non conducive to the type of atmosphere that AD claims they want to provide for the members.
The safety wolves threads are moronic. Just because someone is ignorant enough to act like a spoiled juvenile delinquent doesn't entitle everyone in the forum to openly bash them. Why stoop down to that level? Do you feel more manly for verbally assaulting someone that doesn't matter at all to any aspect of your real life? Is it really that important to "defend your honor" because you got called a "(insert insult here)" by someone you'll never meet?

If someone doesn't like the help you offer and gets argumentative or just plain shitty, there's a rather simple alternative to bashing.... DON'T REPLY. The assholes, shitheads, etc... etc... will eventually learn from lack of responses to their questions and comments that their negativity will not yield any positive gain in knowledge or help if they continue to act like little shits. By responding with a bash, slam, or any kind of rude verbal tirade, you're only adding to the negativity of the forum atmosphere. Basically if you don't have any helpful or useful information to contribute, don't post.
Forum rules numbers 6 and 14 pretty much cover it...
    6. No foul language, insults, personal attacks or otherwise rude messages.
    14. If you see a post that violates any of these rules, please report it to our moderators using the "Report an offensive post" link. Do not play the role of a moderator if you are not one. There is absolutely no need to nitpick on the posts of new users. Let the moderators do their work.

But I think what troubles me most is that the moderators contribute to the negativity by moving threads into the safety valve for the "safety wolves" to "chew on". Are we really teaching someone a lesson by letting the whole forum insult them? It seems to me that it only encourages more negativity and rewards that type of behavior from others.

But to answer the first post. In any type of social environment, there is a phenomenon known as a clique. There can be multiple cliques within a numbered group, but only one can reign over all others. And from the perspective of the clique, you're either in or you're not.

    **Edit**
And for those who wish to pick apart my post... I'll most likely not pay attention, because if you're offended by my post, then you're probably one of the morons who feels the need to verbally assault anyone who steps out of line, which means I won't care what you have to say.

second edit after thread closure on 3/25

What's that smell... oh... it's just the smell of bullshit.....

WTF? Why close this thread when it's sat dead for three days?

And one of the biggest ironies of the reason this thread was closed...

is that there's a thread titled
"Lets Paint The Kettle Black,Do You Have A Bitch On Whats Going On Around The Site Or Any Thing Negative To Report" with over 4700 posts.

By creaky's reasoning, that thread should be closed as well.

    @ zippy

Soo true, I never personally attack anyone or anything like that. And I do agree with him, why in the hell are "wolves chewing" crap condoned by the senior members? Moderators and admins. It's all just crap. Do we all thin that person cares that much so as to check back to see how they were torn apart? In most cases those juvenile little brats (Speaking as one) are more mature than you lot because they ignore it, do you honestly think that they are going to return to their own wolves thread? And if so, do ya'll think they will learn a lesson? The only lesson they will learn is that it's only okay to bash somone if other people are doing it. And bashing people that bash people is just as bad. *ahem...* violence begets violence. we can't take on the "We kill people that kill people because killing is wrong" attitude. I never really looked into the causes of a *wolves* thread, but the fact that we give the person the "attention" they are craving is pathetic. Bashing people is a way of life, we can't deny that, but there is no point in bashing something when bashing will acheive nothing but more bashing.

We can all pretend that were not the wise-a$$'es but, in truth we are, by simply viewing these wise-a$$'es and not doing anything about it, were part of the problem. Maybe we should report their posts. But what happens if we report a Mod's post hmm?

In any case, the wolves threads are complete crap, bashing is in the same boat. These wolves threads are encouraging people to break the rules, but does any care? No, because they are condoned idiocy.

Whatever, I am just one person, but from now on I am not bashing anyone, nor am I justify a wolves thread with even my glance.
