Yet another release from jdobbs. He must've built a backup workhorse or two?

    CURRENT VERSION 0.27.01 (August 5th, 2009)

    http://www.jdobbs.net/freeware/BD-RBV02701.zip

Nothing to be concerned about for an honest concern.

Around a week ago there was a few other people having the same problems as I was (x264 kept crashing and returning encoding errors). I said I would post when I found a solution and I managed to get everything working flawlessly due to some great info on doom9.

I installed "Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 2" which installs a new VC1 decoder that supports DXVA1_ModeVC1_VLD.
    Second - installed Jay Bee's VC1tweak (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1249154#post1249154) and BD-Rebuilder worked like a charm.

More info on the method above see Turbojets post:

PS - TotalMedia Theatre 3 does NOT work and you must use version 2. I do believe you can have versions 2 and 3 installed at the same time.

I already have a licensed copy of TMT 2XX as well as PowerDVD ultra 7 and 8. I refused to upgrade to TMT 3 because it was released 6 weeks after my purchase of 2.0 and they didn't tell me. TMT 2 has worked great for me so far but so does PowerDVD 8 ultra on my other encoding rig.

    @ Soph..

I see your point, it's too bad they didn't offer you a free upgrade.

Is powerDVD decoder capable of VC1 VLD/bitstream decoding? I read that for us guys with x264 crash errors the Arcsoft vedio decoder or Cyberlink VC1 Decoder was the cure.

Also anyone upgrading to windows 7 will most likely have the same problems and the solutions are listed in the link on my previous post. Although I'm sure jdobbs will have a workaround with a new release in time for the launch.

Arcsoft doesn't seem to be client oriented and that could in the long run hurt their businessmen. Especially if a similar quality product becomes available for less money or with better price guarantees and services at the same price. I wrote them an email offering to pay the difference but they insisted that I pay the $49.99 upgrade fee. I thought about it for a minute and realized that there was nothing that I needed since 2.0 does everything I need, and since I made the purchase only back in Feb (if I remember correctly) I still have almost 6 months of updates still coming. For those who are interested the latest version is 2.1.6.130, and I just checked so there are no current available updates.

Did it return an error at 1.77gb or it's still going? Did you install Arcsoft TMT and tweak or just the new release of BD-RB?

Ok, I tried to backup up Star Trek - The motion picture with movie only on a 5DVD. When it was done, I only got the BDMV folder and sub files. I didn't get the Certificate folder. Can anyone tell me if this is a bug. I haven't had any trouble backing a BD to BD-25. I've tried this twice with the same result. I even added the certificate folder from the original 43gig rip and made an iso. But when i mounted it and played it with Powerdvd I got the following error, "There's an unsupported disc on drive I:

Hey all, not really having any major issues with BD-RB, just one minor one. This issue started multiple versions ago with BD-RB, and has not gone away since. Everything works fine except the first step when extracting AV Streams, it used to just zip right through, now it seems to get around 30% and then just slows way down, and takes about 45 min to an hour, when it only used to take a few minutes to extract AV Stream. I always use movie only setting, and it does the same with all reencodes, DVD5,DVD9, and BD25??? Like I stated earlier, not really a big problem, but it now adds another hour to the reencodes? Anyone else having same result.
thanks for any and all help!!! i almost hate complaining about it....hopefully the creator of BD-RB reads some of these threads, much props to him!!! THIS IS AWESOME, VERY USER FRIENDLY,FREE SOFTWARE!!!! MUCH THANKS JDOBBS!!!

Just happened to be perusing the forum after I downloaded the latest version of BD-RB and noticed this. Do you have the PowerDvd workaround enabled in your AnyDvd settings? Just a thought...
