There are some additional applications that need to be installed before BD RB can call the X.264 encoder and send the proper settings to it. Avisynth is absolutely critical for BD RB to function.

If you don't have AVISYNTH installed then click this link and install it now.

    http://www.jdobbs.net/freeware/Avisynth_257.exe

You should also have FFDSHOW installed which can be accessed from this link.

    http://www.jdobbs.net/freeware/ffdshow_rev3133_20091117_clsid.exe

And Matroska Splitter from this link.

    http://mirror01.x264.nl/x264/MatroskaSplitter.exe

I've added these links because they are the only versions of those software that you should be using, and don't forget to update because a lot of times that will fix ones problems.

I'm having trouble with terminator salvation.
I have done a few films so far with no problems. I'm just trying to reduce to a BD-25
It gets to the same point everytime. I've used bd rebuilder ver 3101 and 3104 to the same result. I used anydvd hd to rip the image which plays fine on PDVD when mounted on daemon tools.
Also I have used the add ons you include in your posts

    Try this:

Open the BDREBUILDER.INI file in the program folder, and add this line:

    PROCESS_SECONDARY=0

The INI file is easy to find, it's in the same folder as BD RB, and it's labeled BDREBUIDER.INI.

Add this line to it: PROCESS_SECONDARY=0

Updated all programs and downloaded the the latest BD Rebuilder, same problem though.

Just as a reference DVDFab handled this title without issue.

I have a question - I'm sorry that I am being lazy and haven't searched very hard for the answer.

I am wondering if anyone has used BD-RB on WIN 7 64 bit machine - does it work, I know that FFDSHOW has a 64 bit package, but the other tools I don't know about either. Could someone let me know if it is possible to use BD-RB on win7 and what if anything needs to be done or changed to make it work...

Thanks for the help - anyone?

Just saw Bigorange post about having to install ripbot and associated tools to get BD-RB to work in win 7 - is this still the only way to get it to work right?

managed to get imgburn to work.
all is ok, plays well on uk ps3 in 1080p.
dolby digital 5.1 is working ok.
only difference is that it doesn't fast forward more than x1.5 but it does skip chapters ok.

okay then - I guess I'm good to go !!!

Thank you martytheb for the thumbs up -

I wonder what was causing BigOranges problems...

BigO - are you there? Is your system working w/o Ripbot - or do you still need it.

My current vista on a Hp from hell has some personality problems too - I'll be glad to have a good machine finally - maybe the personality stuff won't follow me to my custom build.

I'm glad to hear BD-RB works on Win 7 64 bit well - it's such a useful tool - would hate to have to live w/o it...

Some that have reported this failure with VC-1 Videos have found completion with Windows Media Player 11 installed and disabling VC-1 in ffdshow Codecs settings.

    Good Luck

i was having the same issue it would get stuck at
    "xtracting A/V streams [VID_00174]
    - Extracting video streams [VID_00174]
    - Extracting secondary video [VID_00174]
    - Extracting audio streams [VID_00174]"
but i just installed the new version of BD_RB and it seems to be going. I will make another post if it doesn't complete!

P.S. Asus P6T6 WS Revolution 2x Hitachi SAS 15k rpm striped 12gbs of Corsair mem, Intel i7-965 Extreme Desktop Edition, LG BH08LSN windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit edition, if you are wondering.

Is there a way to keep the downconverted DTS track instead of converting to AC3 DD when shrinking to a BD5 disc. I noticed that the DTS HD Master track was converted to AC3 instead of just DTS. Is this possible with BD-RB?
