(nice1) so just plug the box straight into my lap top with the null cable and adapter for my lao top

 

you cannot use a cable only usb dongle

nice video, but whats the point in doing a beginners guide to flashing, and then every second page or post there is another post showing here's how you do it!
when its the exact same thing as on the front page, except it maybe in different words or video,
eg:the name of the thread should be enough for beginners or a new member.

 

easier to watch it than read, and still not understand what screens they are looking at. Gives a better understanding of the flashing process, with screen views of a real box been flashed.

 

ok fair understanding for some people
but if you dont understand whats on page 1, then they should not be messing about with what they know nothing about,
as the wise man says to the dumb one do you want me to draw you a picture,
so now ill steal your video, and put it on page 1 and probably change the title of thread to beginners & idiots guide for flashing,lol and i bet people will still post and ask questions on the thread even though everything ie wrote, pictures, and now in film, would you agree with that!

I've downloaded the file, but when I go to usb it asks me to insert usb again.

 

maybe your usb stick needs to be formated, or you could have a faulty usb stick try a different one,
also make sure you put the usb stick in before you turn the box on then wait a minute and go >>> menu >>> usb and click on usb, if nothing happens and it keeps saying insert usb, keep clicking on it for a couple of times
lets know how you get on.

also @Hubabuba you got your junior member status by thank you's are you trying to do the same to get to be a member now,LOL how many more replys do you have to do, if you go to where it says edit my account you will see how many posts you have done, remember its 100 for a member, also dont post pad this time for a few more numbers to your status as you will get a short holiday from 1 of the mods,

 

@Hooter007 : It only takes like 20 posts to get Junior Member status but being a Senior Member or Afterdawn Addict is not something to show off about like you're making it out to be in the above post

EDIT: The mods won't suspend someone for saying thanks a few times and becoming a member lol.

about 2 month's ago hubabuba was asking why his status had not gone up, as he was a newbie for a few months at that time and he was told that he only needed 4 more posts to become a junior member by a mod so he went on a rampage replying to every post saying thanks, also he done some post padding and was told not to post pad (rules) and his reply to the mod was thanks for tellng him that, now if you look up 3-4 posts you will see what i mean when me and e45 were having a discussion,
(and no offence to you hubabuba it was funny when you done it)
and just for the record yes you are right being a member or addict is nothing to show of about but that was never my intention if anybody else picked it up that way
'newbie' or 'addict' in my book there is no difference`, we are all the same and in the same situation,
its just if you seen the way hubabuba got his status up from newbie you would have seen the humour in my post, sorry i cant remember what thread it was on at the moment,
but like i said no glorification ment in my post.
