Belfast and Cable boxes

    hi guys its been about 2 years since i lived in a cable area and was using this forum..... i remember using starviews 1 and 4 and also a dreambox to get me all the channels. Moving back to belfast and wondering is there any boxes out there that does the job im looking it too in terms of getting the channels?? or has it all been shut down?? cheers for any help or advice on this

    Starview 6/7 work if you buy a box and pay a sub to them, or you can buy a kryptview and just pay for the box no sub for that.

    Unfortunately at the present time kv are unreliable in their channels some are on some are off so they are up and down all the time.

    As for Starview well they seem to have got it together but you have to pay to view, which is a gripe in itself, but the upside you do get to watch tv with less channels missing, and have to say it they are improving all the time.

    If you can get a dish up i would suggest going the Sat route.
