Best Divx Encoder

I have started to convert my dvds to avi for my ps3, and i just wanted to know what the best program is i should use.

All free. And I am sure are not the only one. As for which is the best...don't know. never tried one, as I convert the other way, from AVI to DVD Video.

 

I would go with fairuse, I've done over a hundred conversions without any audio sync problems. Haven't found another program as reliable as that.

DVDFab Platinum works great. I use generic to get my avi's and run 2 pass & set the file size. Works great from DvD to AvI.

 

Never had any problem with Auto GK. Its very customizable and free.
