Go with Oriphus here with the pioneer 105, patch with the cracked fimware, and burn 1x at 2x. multi-regional, and rip upto 12x £100? two years ago i would have gladly spend a grand on this!!!!!
The 106 is a good writer and at £139, u cant go wrong. However, i still like the 105 and cant see spending out on the 106 as a + considering the 107 is only a few months away
I have a 105 and the only major difference between the 2 is that the 106 is +r aswell. My 105 is great for ps2 backups using good dvd-r media. When you talk about ps2's it is all down to the media used more than anything!
