Is their a list of the best transformed HD-DVD movies, such as King Kong, etc. It seems that the ones that have bought arent that detail as King KONG. If I am going to spend some money, why not pick the best one's, AH.

I'm not an expert, but the best HD DVD release I've seen was Batman Begins. A friend used it to show off his 110" screen and the detail just blew me away.

Awesome link, thanks. The Matrix films have been the best quality so far in my opinion.

So in my humble opinion the best movie is King Kong on a 100" screen, will try 300 and see what it looks like thinking of joining Netflix again for $5 and try the 300 and use Netflix as a Video board as to what Hd-Dvd to buy.

I agree with the avs forum ratings fully. King kong, happy feet, and 300 look great in my opinion. I've heard great things about the PQ of batman returns and corpses bride but haven seen them yet. I can't wait to see how transformers looks!

I am finding myself buying less and less Hd-Dvd Videos, it seems that in my opinion they realy arent that great to spend an Extra $10 or more for a DVD a few of them are really nice, King Kong as previously stated but overall maybe is just a Hype on how to sell more DVD for an Extra $ and of course the player cost more.

Does any one feel the same as I do? Any one, any feedback??

There are so many to choose from, such as:

300, Shrek 3, Dawn of the Dead, Batman Begins and The Reaping

There's several others as well but, Corpse Bride really stood out I believe. Of course there are a lot of blacks and greys in the movie but, when the main character travels to the other side, where the bride lives I guess you could say, the colors that are presented are amazing!

    TROY directors cut for me,

300 is good, but I hate movies that are made solely with a green screen.

    Troy wins hands down!

    I have a Toshiba HD-A2
300 to me looks so grainy it's a little hard to be impressed, anyone have that issue? it's new to me so I may need to change some settings, only pushing 1080i on 1080p set because I was too cheap to buy a stronger HD-DVD player.

It's not your player. It's really the way the director intended the movie to look. He wanted to get the "feel" of a comic book. It was grainy when I saw it in the theater. It was grainy when I played it in my HD-XA2 1080p player.
