LG 42LB5D is not a bad option bought it at best buy in canada for 1099.99$ on boxing day! great deal it has 1080p native resolution lots of inputs(sound on the tv is not that good but doable). I love playing my ps3 on this awesome tv(i have a epson LCD projector as my alternative system(120+inches a monster of a picture, 800x600 native resolution but still beautiful but not as beautiful as 1080p) with a sony surround sound system, its hooked up to my ps2 and dvd system, has component inputs(produces nice picture)) Depends on your preference bigger picture, a projector is your choice, better quality 1080p is the best choice.
