I use Ritek G04 -R's, have for quite some time now. They're great. If your PS2 plays +R's though, that might be the way to go. I hear people are having problems with -R's that they aren't on +R's. Mine doesn't read +R's though, so I'm stuck.
Taiyo Yuden brand disks have worked great for me. I had middling success with other media, but TY has been flawless so far.
[bold]TenMen,[/bold] you got really lucky, wish i got sony's with (t.yuden). i used sony dvd-r's, they were basically trash. they worked on one game and the rest were pixelated and were constantly freezing and skipping. samsung discs are good for me, if you have an older ps2. if you want samsung just get beall discs since they manufacture for samsung. prodisc silver inkjet printables are okay, they work half the time. maxell's are great, flawless burns every time. i got the gold tops that burn at 8x, media id was MXLRG03.
im usin a V9 PS2, and for ive been usin ritek dvd+r's.....and for some reason not all of em play...the lowest my burner will burn is 2.4, could the speed be the problem or the media?? all in all, is there better media i could be using??
you might even try asking this question in the ps2 dvd forum. just a suggestion! with kind regards hursty
