Best way to burn films to disk through nero . How do you people do it ? and any tips ?

    Blinkie how do i burn the files once saved to VIDEO_TS i got it burned to hardrive then recoded it in nero digital and done it fit to size and its shurnk the file to 4.5GB but one problem when i open the folder instead of the 3 dvd icons for each episode its now like 12 icons all featuring things like vts_001 and all that .

    More than likely those downloads don't have region code protection on them so you're okay there w/ the changes left on your burner.

    The conversion bit from ntsc to pal deals with changing like the fps to match the standard of the region you are in.

    - vs + well +r s said to better - as tailschao said the difference is +r can be booktyed to dvd-rom. I use both formats. Most dvd players now accept both formats.
    You can check to to see if your dvd player accepts divX, avi etc here:
    http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers Just need the make and model.
    The burn an avi just use the data dvd option in burning rom.

    @Rampage
    Once you convert the avis you will have a video_ts for w/ vob,ifo,bup files so sounds like your okay there.
    Now if your using Nero Digital that may be why they are not playing back - this makes them mp4 video. Use the these options instead: recode an entire dvd to dvd or remake a dvd.
