Question Best way to recover deleted video (snapshot video) from an iPhone?

I'm trying to help a friend recover a Snapchat video from an iPhone. They are admittedly not very technically savvy. I don't really have that much experience with data recovery.



I've done some googling it seems like there are multiple articles or methodologies to do this. But, some seem to be garbage.



What is the best/most straightforward way to do this or is this something that is realistically not very straightforward?

 

There is indeed many ways to recover deleted videos or photos from iPhone.
But I think recover them from iTunes backup files is very easy to handle. You can have a try.

 

iPhone snapshots are saved to the Camera Roll. Camera Roll is automatically backed up via each iTunes sync or via iCloud backup. You can restore the iTunes or iCloud backup made of the iPhone at the time the snapshot was still there.

This will restore the snapshot photos back to the iPhone. Tell us how it went.

 

Nope only if you've set it to sync new pics to camera roll, otherwise it will not save automatically.
