better sky quality on my LCD.. how??

    sky looks better old really big and heavy 27in toshiba tv than on my new hd ready 37inch tv.....i have a sky box... and i bought a qvc scart to component adaptor...it was alright.. but made some wavey lines on my lcd... so that was a no no... so i was wondering how do i get crisp better images on my lcd??? i was thinking of getting a dvb-c card on my pc.....get some channels...and then if i can output on my dual dvi link to my lcd.....anyone out there can help me???

    You can put in the exact model and what you are feeding and guys will tell you what settings to use on the TV. Main problem is broadcasters are dishing out crap quality, and the HDTV shows up all these imperfections, so an old CRT can actually seem better.
