Hiya, I'm wondering if you can help - ever since downloading bit torrent to do movie downloads my pc keeps coming up with a pop up for the following site: http://isg09.casalemedia.com/V2/40543/42490/errorguard-wizzard_bigadv.gif and we cannot stop it and the file is nowhere to be seen. I have been told it may be an BHO error so have bought No Adware to remove it - still happens. Also tried Spy Bot Search & Destroy - this shows I have a DSO Exploit & Ad-aware 6.0 shows both the above! My Norton doesn't really help much, kinda as much use as a chocco fireguard!!!! Anyway, i've just installed HijackThis and the reg files shown are:- Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7 Scan saved at 16:52:15, on 15/12/2004 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Ahead\InCD\InCDsrv.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccSetMgr.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccEvtMgr.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\VTTimer.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Trust\WIRELE~1\Keyboard\Ikeymain.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Trust\WIRELE~1\Mouse\Amoumain.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\hpztsb09.exe C:\WINDOWS\Dit.exe C:\Program Files\Ahead\InCD\InCD.exe C:\Program Files\FarStone\RestoreIT!\RestoreIT!_XP\VBPTASK.EXE C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\bin\jusched.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exe C:\Program Files\HP\hpcoretech\hpcmpmgr.exe C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exe C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\WCESCOMM.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\d?dplay.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Eric Grant\Application Data\tmea.exe C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBUpdate\qbupdate.exe C:\Program Files\Executive Software\DiskeeperLite\DKService.exe C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\navapsvc.exe C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\ymsgr_tray.exe C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\SAVScan.exe C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX\SMAgent.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC\symlcsvc.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Security Center\SymWSC.exe C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\HPZipm12.exe C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Eric Grant\Local Settings\Temp\HijackThis.exe C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://adblock.linkz.com/abho/bandsearch.abs R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://linkz.com/ R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.ntlworld.com/ R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://adblock.linkz.com/abho/bandsearch.abs R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = http://www.ntlworld.com/ O2 - BHO: (no name) - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {236935CB-A053-AE8F-0C44-FDCABDDFCAEC} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\gzjgq.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {3F8E3B06-B830-7AE8-D500-66557FFA7D3C} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\phzwjnl.dll (file missing) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - C:\PROGRA~1\SPYBOT~1\SDHelper.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {54EC170F-6EB1-47C6-9C4D-EB0BE20CE45E} - (no file) O2 - BHO: NAV Helper - {BDF3E430-B101-42AD-A544-FADC6B084872} - C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\NavShExt.dll O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\NavShExt.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [VTTimer] VTTimer.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iKeyWorks] C:\PROGRA~1\Trust\WIRELE~1\Keyboard\Ikeymain.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WheelMouse] C:\PROGRA~1\Trust\WIRELE~1\Mouse\Amoumain.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HPDJ Taskbar Utility] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\hpztsb09.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Dit] Dit.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [InCD] C:\Program Files\Ahead\InCD\InCD.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [REGSHAVE] C:\Program Files\REGSHAVE\REGSHAVE.EXE /AUTORUN O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [farstone] NULL O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RestoreIT!] "C:\Program Files\FarStone\RestoreIT!\RestoreIT!_XP\VBPTASK.EXE" VBStart O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\bin\jusched.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ccApp] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Component Manager] "C:\Program Files\HP\hpcoretech\hpcmpmgr.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroFilterCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Software Update] "C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exe" O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [H/PC Connection Agent] "C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\WCESCOMM.EXE" O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Yahoo!
