    Hiya,
I'm wondering if you can help - ever since downloading bit torrent to do movie downloads my pc keeps coming up with a pop up for the following site: http://isg09.casalemedia.com/V2/40543/42490/errorguard-wizzard_bigadv.gif
and we cannot stop it and the file is nowhere to be seen.

I have been told it may be an BHO error so have bought No Adware to remove it - still happens. Also tried Spy Bot Search & Destroy - this shows I have a DSO Exploit & Ad-aware 6.0 shows both the above! My Norton doesn't really help much, kinda as much use as a chocco fireguard!!!!

Anyway, i've just installed HijackThis and the reg files shown are:-

    Hey

First off, your version of HiJackThis is out of date....

Ok, put a tick the the following then Fix Selected.

See if u can find the d?dplay.exe file and delete it, as well as tmea.exe

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\d?dplay.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Eric Grant\Application Data\tmea.exe

After you have removed that, go in a reset your homepage to what you want then restart.

See if the popups still come up.

When I restarted and re-set the homepage everything looked fine for a while but now i'm getting another link offering smiley faces similar to:

    Hey

Looks pretty clean to me :)

What sites are you going to, when u get the popups for the smilies ?

Places like AfterDawn have Pop-unders, which alot of people have the Smiley ad's.
