.bin and .cue issue.

    I read the guide for .bin and .cue found here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/bin_cue_with_nero.cfm

    I've been doing this with all my .BINs and .CUEs and it's been working well, though I was surprised to find out that they burn to CDs rather than DVDs.

    My problem now is that I've got a .cue movie that's too big for CDs. I've only really used Nero for this up until now, and as far as I know, I can't burn .cue onto DVD with Nero. Is there another program(hopefully free?) or a way to burn .cue onto DVD with Nero? The files I downloaded have a .BIN and a .CUE in the same folder.
    I used the search feature on this site, but can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. I [bold]have[/bold] used the search feature before, a few times, and it's always been a quick and easy way to get help (especially with converting avi's). I'm very new to this whole burning thing, and not the most computer-literate guy around, either.

    Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, or if this in fact has been brought up, and thank you all in advance.

    how big is the bin file? use isobuster or winrar to extract the bin to a folder and tell us whats in there!

    I used Isobuster to extract it to a folder, and it shows up as 817,488 KB. My CDs are the 700MB ish ones.
    So is there a way to burn to DVD with a .bin/.cue?

    Thanks for replying, sorry it took me a while to respond, but I'm still struggling with all this stuff(I'm trying to learn though!)

    hi there

    still need to know what files types were in the bin so as i can offer a solution...

    you can buy 90min cdrs also

    When i extracted the .bin to a folder, it just gives me a .bin in the folder, no mpegs or avi's or anything else at all.

    I think I will just get a bigger CD for now. Thank you Rotary, and gilera.
