Ok mates, im a mega newb at DVD burning so here goes: I have a movie file with spit into 1 BIN file and 1 CUE file. I want to burn these to a dvd-r to watch in my my xbox360. How would i go about burning this DVD for free. I have downloaded CopytoDVD and IMgBurn so if it possible to do it with those that would be best. Thanx. CG
Just pull the mpg out:http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/141726.php#svcdbin author and burn. Isobuster is freeware.
sorry for all of the newbie questions but how can i tell if i have a VCD file or an SVCD file? and what does this mean?
I have never burned either format, so, I don't really know the difference. VCD is MPEG 1 with audio of 44,100 Hz while SVCD is MPEG 2 with audio of 48,000 Hz and DVD compliant. I usually see the difference when I open the file in Isobuster; it's either MPEG 2 for SVCD or MPEGAV for VCD but Isobuster changes either to DVD compliant mpg. Someone else will have an answer that is more informative.
