If the moderators won't mind i't like to clarify something: THE .EXE AT THE END OF FILES HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE IMAGE AND IT SHOULD BE REMOVED!!!
The reason for it is the fact that P2P's like kazaa recognise a file as beeing in the "Program" category only if it ends in ".exe" and so the people that share on those networks add .exe to the normal filename and that's how the file gets distribuited from then on.
If it had the .bin extension it wouldn't be actually found in any search done in kazaa, not iven in all categories.
    Stupid ideas get stupig solutios...

p.s. please tell me in this helped clarify the matter.

I's sure u moderatorn knew this so why didn't u post it? Copyright related?

By the way I consider that for the avereage user nero rulz because it has everything you need and is relatively easy.(even imagedrive...)

It's "possible" you can install\play using emulation m8. Mainly depends on the "protection" of the image. You would use Daemon Tools...

If the 2 images install\play using Daemon Tools then most likely it will work burning to a cd-r(w) but [bold] NO [/bold] guarentee. if you own a "2 sheep burner" then it should work. I've yet to come accross any pc protected game that my Polaroid BurnMAX48x drive can't backup.

I ve read the article about how to do it but I cant find no dang cue sheet to even verify that it is correct. Is it in the properties of the .bin file? No ive looked there and it also says to burn the cue file not the bin file. please help. where is the cue sheet????

Right. Perhaps it is just a corrupt file but I want to know. I have downloaded a game and burned all three files to Cds. I checked the directory structure with Daemon Tools and it is fine. however when i go to install it the setup program won't start. It seems to replicate itself in task Manager but does not appear. Any ideas people?

Hi there! this is a great site and is extremely useful. A great thread, I have read most of it but I have a couple of questions:

I am trying to get the nintendo games for the playstation on to a disc from a downloaded file. Is it a simple case of copying all of the files downloaded onto a CD to put into the playstation? I tried this and it loads up to the screen where the playstation symbol is meant to be showm, but it isnt there and all it says is 'playstation' and for some reason two letter 'd's aswell.

How can I get it to load up? Is there some special thing I need to do to make it work?

Any help would me very, very appreciated.
    Cheers

Why m8? You could download Alcohol 120% then go to general>options>shell extension>enable iso file format then burn Sim City 4 using the Safedisc 2 datatype profile (RAW DAO) at 8x. Enable cue file format and give it a go and see what happens for both images. Depending upon the brand name burner will determine if you need emulation to play your backups.

Damn, does anybody know how to read anymore? Wow, reading this thread is scary haha. Okay here's something that i think should be added to the faq: since version 3.0, blindwrite bin/cue files are not compatable with any other burning software. Says so on the web page. Therefore if you have a problem with a bin/cue file not burning correctly in other apps, it might be a good idea to try blindwrite.

I wonder if nOObs actually read here [bold] first before posting [/bold]. Use burnatonce (freebie) and burn your bin& cue files, it's that simple.....

Hi, I have a BIN and CUE file for a video game but I can't burnt them onto a CD because the BUIN file is over 900mb. I don't think I could split the file up either, considering it's a game, what can I do?

I am still trying to find a way to view a movie that is in .bin/.cue format. Does anyone know of any software that allows you to watch w/o burning??? The files are large and I only have 700mb CD's to burn onto??? I know that I can try and burn them using Alcohol 120% burn at once, but after doing this I still can't play the movie. Is there some way to convert this .bin/.cue into .mpg or .avi??? Please help I have read the "READ HERE FIRST" and it is not very specific for us computer illiterates...
