Hey, I just got this copy of a movie & I converted it to mp4 format, and it went into my iTunes really smoothly... But when i went to sync my ipod to my library it said that it could not upload my movie as it had the wrong bitrate? My ipod is a 30gb video and I was wondering which bitrate / kbps is right for it to upload onto my ipod?

yeah im gonna be honest it was an advanced copy of casino royale... i think it could have been a ts but one guy on the comment page said it was a c5 or r5... i cant remember(never heard of that format before), but yeah i used xilisoft.... and to be completely honest i dont know what you just said... i just need a simple answer like 1200kbps or 750 kbps.... thanks.
Not to hijack this thread but does bitrate have anything to do with how big a file a movie converts to? The reason I ask is I have converted 4 movies using CUCUSOFT DVD to IPOD conversion suite and all 4 have converted to around a 1gig file. Now when I have done a search for a mp4 file on the net they come up around 400mb why is that? In cucusoft's program I can't find any setting to change the size of the output file other than the bitrate. I have changed the bitrate slide to somewhere in the middle and I still get 1gig files. Any ideas?
