I recently installed a Lite-On iHAS 324-99y DVD burner in my computer and burned a disc with Nero 8, and much to my suprise it did not automatically booktype my DVD+R to DVD-ROM. I previously had an older version Lite-On burner that allowed bitsetting but this one appears to be unable to. I went into Nero to change the bitsetting options, and they were all listed as n/a except DVD+R/DL. Does this mean I can't booktype with this drive? It seems stupid that my old drive that was 3 years old could do this but this one won't. The firmware is up to date, is there anything I can do to enable this feature. I never would have bought this drive had I known it couldn't booktype. Is there a different setting in Nero that will enable this feature? Any help is appreciated.
