black and white

    How come after finalizing the dvd it came out in black and white,yet was in color before that.

    Hi there,

    You didn't leave any details at all, on what you are doing, what software, what steps you used and on what movie.

    But usually this is a problem when burning a "PAL" dvd and played into an "NTSC" DVD Player.

    You will probably need to convert that PAL dvd to NTSC before you burn it !

    Is this the case ?

    are you sure it is not a simple playback problem with your tv/standalone player?

    Ok, we recorded from a vhs tape from our dvd/vcr player to the dvd recorder (ilo). It was in color before we finalized the recorded dvd. Dont know how to fix this problem.
