blackberry bold 9700 media card problems

on my blackberry bold i am trying to play my media files (mp3s) but the folder is hidden..When i go to applications>files>my files>media card..blackberry button>show hidden> then i go to the semi-transparent blackbery button and hit blackberry button<properties..when i highlight the "hidden" it wont let me uncheck it..its grayed out but i cant uncheck..This folder is hidden and therefore the media player wont recognize all the songs on my media card..I can play every song one by one but its really frustrating to do that until all the songs are in my library..please help
