    hello.
i remember before whenever i put a blank cd in my cdrom, it would show up in windows explorer showing how much space total and available, kinda like a hard drive.
now even if i have a blank cd in there, it still doesn show anything, even if i go to properties it still says 0 total and 0 available. however, if i burn something on it - it goes just fine...
how can i get it to show me this kind of stuff?
    i have win2000 system and NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A drive.
it is the same for the other dvd drive i have...
    any suggestions?
    thank you!
