I've used BB and Netflix. In the first month they were both very fast. BUT if you are a power user like me, they will slow down to a crawl. I went from getting 6 movies a week down to just 2. That's when I canceled.

They mostly have widescreen because that is what most people want. I want to see what the director wanted me to see, not some half-assed gimp in an editing suite (or wherever they do it) telling me what I can see!
Don't know many people who like fullscreen. I absolutely HATE it with amazing passion!

I don't have a widescreen, just a standard Mitsubishi 32" 4:3. and I would never get full screen...whats the point? You're missing almost half the movie!

Kinza, your TV does not dictate whether it is widescreen or not, that is down to the dvd.

If you choose widescreen your missing half of the top and bottem.
If you buy 42inch widescreen t.v and 42 regular t.v its the same size expect there's more on the top and bottem. People don't get that.

same size, different aspect ratio. "fullscreen" is 4:3, widescreen is 16:9

Some people think something is broken if the whole of their regular TV screen is not filled with a picture. Wide screen gives you the movie as it was meant to be seen.

I prefer widescreen you get the movie as was seen in the theater, if you don't like the black bars you can always use the zoom button on the remote, it then makes it almost fullscreen.

No, if you choose fullscreen you're missing the far left and right portions. Fullscreen is basically a zoomed in widescreen shot.

ok anyways the point is the widescreen is what everyone should get unless they want to cut off the sides of the video.
