there is a way to get rid of it but nortons won,t work go into your internet options change your settings to default ,go to connection make shure your lan settings are set to automatic detect settings.did u download avg 7.0 if not do so will repair the files.this is not going to be a quick fix will take some work. www.grisoft.com
once you reset ur router try pulling it up with netscape type in the ip address 192.168.2.1. if u get in it mite ask for a name and password type in admin and pick a passward you can remeber ,you can change the name later. then you have controll of ur router. now u just need to clean ur history files should get rid of bad cookies in ur temp files.make shure it has no where to hide.you allso mite need to do a restore to before this happened.
