view the BD? there isn;t anything thats been called the champion for viewing them just yet;)

are you trying to go blu ray to dvd? or backuped blu ray to burnt blu ray? you'll need a BD-R burner if your trying to burn blu ray...and they cost quite a bit:(

I am trying to make successful Backups of my BR movies so they play on my PS3? Does anyone know the formula?

I have been using Newest Nero... also used Any DVD HD and ripping movie ISO on to PSR using Linux (Fedora Core 5) then burning with Nero etc.

When I go to play the movies they seem to want to start then they say it's an invalid disk.

I can play the movies on my workstation using Power DVD though.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a Sony BR Burner and PS3 with 320GB drive.

    Anyway, let me know…

    Thx

Does this app actually rip the contents (BDMV & Certificate folders) of the Blu-Ray disc to you PC or does it record (capture) it during playback?

EDIT: To answer my own question; No. It's just like a capture device, should only be used as a last resort if you cannot actually rip your BD.

Use Nero 8 Ultra in the Burning Rom mode then highlight Blu Ray UDF. Set UDF to manual and 2.5 physical in the adjacent settings and Burn baby Burn. No Coasters.

great thread learn a lot but here is what I"m still a lil confused on how to do quickly and easily. When I get deployed I copy quite a few of my dvds to watch while I'm over there just so I don't have to take my actual store bought copies so they won't get ruinet or taken by customs. But when I copy then with clone dvd I can just get the movie audio files and what subtitles I want. I would like to be able to do the same with my blu-ray movies but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I can make exact copys with anydvd hd but I hate buying dual layered BD discs cus this media is so expensive as is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Gary
