booktype help for optiarc 7703S

    I'm trying to make a map dvd for my lexus IS. I have researched and established that the booktype needs to be DVD-ROM. However, I have tried to use imageburn and change the setting to the DVD-ROM and have not able to figure out how to do that, since it doesn't have my burner listed. I have also come across the idea of flashing the firmware for my drive as it might not be capable of changing the booktype as it is right now. I'm not quite sure how that works as I'm a newbie at this stuff. If somebody could please help me out I would with a detailed explanation I would appreciate it. I'm using the verbatim 8x DVD+R DL discs. thanks

    Dvd readers recognize DVD-R as being "DVD-ROM", since booktyping is basically making DVD+R disks appear to be DVD-R disks.
