Okay, I use the old Xbox's I have here only as Media Streamers around my house, and I wanted to try to slim down the xbox, to save space, and to make it look a bit nicer. Anyways, I don't know if this would be a software issue or a hardware one, but when I softmodded the xbox, I used the ndure method. Would that maybe be the cause of why when I disconnect the drive, it gives the error screen? Is there another softmod that doesn't require me to have a certain game or certain memory card or whatever? Would like to get this figured out, so that I can start slimming them down! Thanks!
the xbox does a POST routine. run from the hardware bios. so a softmod doesn't allow drives to be removed.. sorry.. chip or tsop flash only.
