bootable dvd

    Hi All

    I made a copy of my windows 7 disc, but, I can't get it to boot,

    Can anyone show me how I can make a bootable dvd from my copy.

    what program are you using to burn with? dvd-r or dvd-rw? did you use copy & paste to copy the files off the original & paste onto the new disk?

    It sound like copy protection to me. The earlier OS disks could be copied but the only Win 7 computers I have didn't have a disk.

    i've seen namebrand xp computers & newer not come with recovery disks.
