    Hi guys

my friend has been having problems with his pc,saying its not booting up.i had a look at it,keep saying put in boot disk and press enter. so tried to reformat the hard drive but it wouldn't pick the hard drive up. Opened the tower and noticed it was an ATA hard drive.
so what i did was put and IDE hard drive and formatted that and installed xp on it but every time when it boots up, it always comes up with that page when it says boot up in safe mode etc.
so checked the bois settings and checked the boot settings they seem fine.

theirs no floppy drive just dvdrom and hard drive.put the dvdronm as 1st boot.

    any help would be grateful

    thanx
    gary
