Hello. I have tried booting my old desktop PC from an external drive but it doesn't seem to handle it (year 2000 model). I am buying a new PC soon and it won't have an internal DVD/CD drive at first (it's a long story). Anyway, I have both an external DVD drive and an external HD both connected through firewire (USB 2.0 is also a possibility), so will I be able to boot XP Windows from an external drive with a new 2005 model desktop? Thanks...
