took the bull by the horns today after the codes went and flashed the box, followed the instructions, done the power scan and got all the channels back, but I had to manually imput the codes.

Everything seemed to go ok, but seemed to download the install the file very quickly, is there a way to check if it has worked?

Oh and thanks for the instructions on how to do it

 

Depends what box you have, if it is the Starview then menu - 1570 and press OK on Set Default Key exit exit to Sly Sports 1 and see if it updates, you may need to change the channel to a Discovery channel, it sometimes needs a kickstart.

I should have stated what box I have, its a Eurovox MaxV 2008, in the Config menu under system information its showing 27th Nov 2007, does this mean then that the flashing diddnt work?

 

It hasn't flashed, as above the guide you was given was for the starview not eurovox,

I did follow the correct one, followed the link under you name, got the right box from the picture followed all the points, but it doesnt seem to have worked. Previous to folling the instructions I couldnt get into the menues to do a new scan but I can now, so something has happened.

Take It I just keep trying?

Yes try again, after it has flashed correctly in system info it will read, S/W Ver 18 April 08 for a max V.
