    whenever i click on a link, nothing happens.

    Try downloading FireFox Browser here:

    http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

    Use it instead of Internet Explorer... Your IE might be corupt or you may have Adaware or Spyware doing somthing to IE... Try FireFox and see if it resolves your problem : )

    yeah, i've been having atrocious problems with IE6 for a long time, on work PC and my home PC (both XP), and my home PC when it was Win2000 before XP.. so i've been using Firefox quite heavily now, with many, many tabs left open for hours at a time, it's excellent
